What you will see on the Costa Rica Study Tour!

The Poás Volcano is one of the most magnificent volcanoes of Costa Rica . With its blue green lake, the world's most natural acid lake, this volcano is truly spectacular.

Costa Rica is very diverse in flora and fauna. The Red-eyed Tree Frog and the national flower, the Guaria Morada Orchid are some examples of the extraordinary diversity to be found here. Much more flora and fauna can be observed during your guided tour in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.

The perfect way to end the day after hiking in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is to sit and watch the sun setting on the horizon.

Coffee is one of Costa Rica's top agricultural exports. During the Costa Rica Study Tour you will visit a coffee plantation and, if you come in January, you can help pick your own cup of the coffee!

For student groups caving is a wonderful activity. The Venado Caves in San Carlos, are unique limestone caves, with a natural stream of fresh water flowing continually through them.

If you're lucky, you'll see this impressive view of the Arenal Volcano with the magnificent Arenal Lake at its base.
