We offer custom tours to fit different interests. We specialize in agricultural tours, peace tours, Eco-tours, farm tours, naturalist tours, and bird watching tours. We have experience in doing customized tours for groups from Universities, Schools, and other special interest groups.

Farmer's Agricultural Tour

From March 7-14, 2008
Only $1,295 per person
Includes all ground transportation in Costa Rica, all lodging in Costa Rica and 12 meals, and entrances to farms, talks and slide shows.

  1. Day 1
    Arrive in Costa Rica.
  2. Day 2
    Visit an agricultural school and spend the evening at the Pacific Beach town of Jaco.
  3. Day 3
    Right away we'll depart for the Tilarán Mountain Range and the town of Monteverde. In the afternoon visit the world famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve or see the cloud forest canopy from suspension bridges at the Sky Walk.
  4. Day 4
    We'll spend the day off visiting a Costa Rican farmer that grows coffee and we'll visit a coffee processing plant, or "beneficio".
  5. Day 5
    Visit the Monteverde Cheese Factory, Waste Management Plant and Hog Farm. Later on we'll depart Monteverde for the town of Tilarán, a macadamia processing plant and the Arenal Volcano.
  6. Day 6
    Visit a local Yuca farmer. "Yuca", a tuber known to many as Cassava. In the afternoon you will take a riverboat tour of the Sarapiquí River.
  7. Day 7
    We'll visit a pineapple plantation that exports pineapples worldwide. Return to San José via the world famous craft center of Sarchí, known for it's top quality workmanship in hardwood furniture and souvenirs.
  8. Day 8
    Good old USA day!

Seven Day Atlantic Adventure

From May 1-8, 2008
Only $1,295 per person
Includes all ground transportation in Costa Rica, all lodging in Costa Rica and 12 meals, and entrances to parks, reserves, talks and slide shows.

  1. Day 1
    Arrive in Costa Rica, from Houston.
  2. Day 2
    Travel along a highway surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation and a palm lined coast to the Atlantic town of Cahuita.
  3. Day 3
    Enjoy a free, relaxing day at the beach, in the Cahuita National Park, or take an optional trip to a Bri Bri Indigenous Reserve, an iguana farm and a dugout canoe ride into Panama!
  4. Day 4
    Travel to Sarapiquí River, right after lunch enjoy a riverboat tour along the Sarapiquí River. Another optional activity is a guided tour of a pineapple plantation that exports worldwide.
  5. Day 5
    First off we'll visit the imposing Arenal Volcano. We'll also have the option of immersing ourselves in the Venado Caverns, floating down the Peñas Blancas River on kayaks. To finnish off the day we'll spend the evening at the base of the Arenal Volcano, soaking in a relaxing of the many thermal hot water pool!
  6. Day 6
    First thing in the morning we'll visit a farm that grows tropical flowers for export. Optional activities for the afternoon include soaking in hot water springs nestled in the forest, whizzing through the tree tops on zip lines, horseback riding on a dairy farm or simply resting.
  7. Day 7
    Cross the continental divide and travel trough coffee plantations to arrive at the Sarchí craft center. End the day returning to San José and enjoying a farewell dinner at a typical Costa Rican restaurant.
  8. Day 8
    Good old USA day!

Tropical Rain Forest Tour

From July 24-31, 2008
Only $1,295 per person
Includes all ground transportation in Costa Rica, all lodging in Costa Rica and 12 meals, and entrances to parks, reserves, talks and slide shows.

  1. Day 1
    Arrive in San José, Costa Rica.
  2. Day 2
    Visit the extraordinary Poás Volcano, and the world famous craft center of Sarchí, known for it's top quality workmanship in hardwood furniture and souvenirs. Travel through the pacific lowlands to the Manuel Antonio Beach on the central pacific coast.
  3. Day 3
    In the morning we'll take a guided tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park, with it's pristine beaches, White-faced Capuchin monkeys. In the afternoon you'll get some free time for rest and relaxation at the beach.
  4. Day 4
    We'll depart for a guided tour of the Carrara National Park, home of the Scarlet Macaws. After lunch depart for the mountain town of Monteverde.
  5. Day 5
    Natural History Day. Visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, depicted in a 1983 issue of the National Geographic. Tour the reserve with a professional naturalist guide. Visit the Monteverde Cheese Factory, established in 1951 by a group of Quakers from Fairhope Alabama, who came to Costa Rica to live a peaceful existence.
  6. Day 6
    Free morning in Monteverde. Optional activities include a visit to the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, Sky Walk or Sky Trek, the Butterfly Garden, an Orchid Garden or Aerial Adventures.
  7. Day 7
    We'll start the day off by visiting a Costa Rican farmer that grows coffee and we'll visit a coffee processing plant, or "beneficio". In the afternoon we'll return to San José.
  8. Day 8
    Good old USA day!
